What comes to mind when you hear the word "Malino"? I am sure your memory will surely drift to the Malino Agreement, a historic meeting was initiated to reconcile the warring parties in the violence in Maluku.
Take place in February 2002, this agreement produces a peace agreement to end fighting that claimed casualties large enough in the Moluccas.
I myself remember the Malino as a beautiful tourist spots and cool with a beautiful mountain atmosphere and shade. While still a student high school and college students, several times I visited the place which is located approximately 90 km from the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi.

About 10 km from Malino to the east, you can visit waterfalls Takapala. Twisting road with mountain scenery will accompany your journey to the waterfall about 60 meters altitude.
